The Institute of Industry (IDEI) of the Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento (UNGS) generates knowledge on the technological, institutional and territorial aspects of the dynamics of productivity and competitiveness of the productive systems of enterprises and their economic problems, the industrial activity and those economic policies that have an impact on the socio-economic development of Argentina. The IDEI has worked in close collaboration with several institutions in Argentina and abroad: a) national universities and research institutions b) national organisatoins (INDEC, SECYT, Ministry of Labour and Economy c) international organisations and foundations (ALFA programme of the European Union, the IFC of the World Bank).
